Please excuse any broken pages or links. I’m changing up the site with a few new sections, a bit more content and a new layout. The sub-pages were eliminated because they were confusing and too complicated. Some of the cartoons and pages featured on them may pop up at other locations.

In recent news, I was named the first-place winner in the New England Associated Press News Executives Association features design contest (for Class II). You can find the page in question in the design section.

Hi there. You’ve stumbled upon the online haunt of writer, editor, designer, cartoonist and web trawler Clay Wirestone. In other words, me.

On this site, you’ll find samples of my stories, pages and cartoons, as well as links to my work online.

I’ve worked for the Concord Monitor of Concord, N.H., since 2005. I’ve also worked for The Tampa Tribune, St. Petersburg Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer. In my spare time, I write freelance articles.
